LIFTING HIGH THE CROSS FOR 160 YEARS
Shumway Trinity Lutheran Church is a charming country church that has been a staple of the area since 1864. With roots reaching well before the town of Shumway itself was established, it has proven to stand against the test of time by remaining steadfast in the pursuit to deliver the word of God to the people. In 2017, the church joined North American Lutheran Church (NALC) to remain a church family committed to the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.

The Trinity Ladies - women's prayer group - meets once a month for bible study and points of interest.
Adult Bible Study takes place every Sunday morning at 9am.
VBS is coming up on June 27th from 8:30am to 2pm. This year's theme is "Wonder Junction" where the kids will be able to learn about the journey Jesus experienced while on this earth. Join us as we study His ministry!

Our annual ICE CREAM SOCIAL will be on September 20th, 2026 from 4-7pm. Please join us for a wonderful meal and handmade ice cream as we plan to wrap up the summer! All proceeds will go towards preserving our cherished Stained Glass Windows bringing both beauty and historical value to the community as they are hand crafted and very old. We look forward to seeing you!
